Ricky Lathon graduated from Northwest High school in Clarksville, Tennessee.  He furthered his education at Voorhees College in Denmark, South Caroline where he was an accomplished scholar and leader.  During this time he served as president of the Student Body Government Association, was on the Dean’s List, and held the highest grade point average in the Criminal Justice Department.  Ricky graduated Cum Laude from Voorhees College and received his diploma in Criminal Justice in 1989.  In addition to his educational experience, Ricky has held numerous management positions at various fast food establishments.

Currently, Ricky is a member of the National Audubon Society, participates in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and is assistant intramural coordinator of the Sports Medicine Society. He is experienced working with youth of all ages in various capacities.  His passion for children/youth is clearly demonstrated through his tenure as head athletic trainer at Fisk University and coaching little league baseball.

His goal as activities coordinator for Lighthouse Faith in Action Ministries, where faith is put into action, is to help build the church body spiritual and physically. The activities provided will help child and parent become better Christians and Saints, by building stronger temples spiritually, mentally, and physically through Christ.
