Shelia Woods, Assistant Director of Rhema Christian Academy
Sheila Woods is a native of Griffin, Georgia. She is a graduate of Spelman College with a degree in Psychology/Pre-Law and a Master of Education in Education Management from Strayer University.  She has five years experience as an instructor in early child learning.  Her professional experience ranges from working as a technology instructor at Moore Elementary School in Griffin, Georgia; where she taught K-5th grades to Small Treasures Learning Center where she worked as an intervention resource instructor for ages 2-12.  Sheila is also active in her community and has worked with the Girl Scouts of Pin Valley Council, Inc. as membership specialist for girls ages 5-12.

Sheila has worked with children in church ministry for 28-years in a variety of capacities including an extended session worker, missions’ leader, royal ambassador leader, and a Kids Inc. leader at Second Baptist Church of Griffin, Georgia.  She currently works at Little Flyers Learning Center as lead teacher of children ages 2-3 years of age.  Her desire is to teach and nurture the education of students in a Christian environment.  By doing this she hopes to promote the intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual growth of children.
